Ok, I know that title is lame. But I cannot help it. Alyssa is starting to act like a princess. And she loves dressing, posing, acting and dancing. I guess all girls her age do that. She is so darn cute! Here are pictures of her with that her crown.
This Post/Message is Filed Under (Alyssa is so excited with her kitchen!!! It came on a jumbo box, about ten screws, and /cups/pots/pans. It has a built in fridge, a microwave and an oven. It really looks so cute even I want to play! It has these great sounds on frying and boiling, and also phone tones. They are soft and pleasant to hear… not loud and obnoxious.
I finally took some photos of Alyssa on the slides. This is the 3rd day she has been sliding alone without anybody coaching her. The photos were taken at 5 in the afternoon. We had the park all to ourselves. When the other children came later, I was so delighted that Alyssa played nicely with them. I wondered before how she will deal with kids her age because she can be a brat and thinks everything is hers. But seeing her play and not throw tantrums when in a group, I think she is now ready to attend daycare.
Alyssa was very excited we’re going out of town. On the road, she kept asking questions as to where we’re going and why. It was endless inquiries and I sometimes just answered “uhuh” because she just won’t stop. We got to the hotel a little late but because it is still not dark, we stayed at the pool before getting dinner. It was quite cold… I am not sure why. I guess it is because we’re up North that the temperature is a little cooler than Southern California.
The Chinese Seafood and fried rice was good. Alyssa really likes noodles so she ate a lot! Rolly also got a huge piece of Black Forest Cake for dessert. Really good with coffee!!! Now, it is almost 12 midnight. Rolly is getting ready for his day tomorrow. I am doing my blogging as usual… and Alyssa is fast asleep. She just looks to peaceful and cute! Here are some photos of Alyssa on our almost perfect vacation. I said ALMOST because on the middle of the fun, she chipped her tooth. Yes, again! Seriously, the more I take care of her the more she gets into trouble. On this gallery, she still have her nice full set of teeth. Most photos taken some few hours before the incident.
Boy, it was so hot yesterday! I think the temperature went up to 103F. But that didn’t stop us from enjoying the last day of the weekend. In the morning before 10, we headed out the door to the other end of the neighborhood towards the freeway. We have a bigger park there and a prettier one too. Probably about 20 minutes walk depending on how fast you are. When we got there, we sat for a little bit… then Alyssa and her Dad went to the swing, to the monkey bar and finally on the slides. She sure was having fun! Only that the sand on her shoes really bothered her that she keeps on coming to where I was sitting.
And the video will be coming shortly. In the afternoon, we went to the Galleria at Tyler. It is hugge mall… like those ones in OC. We went shopping at Macy’s. We got some summer dresses for Alyssa and Rolly also bought some jeans for his motorcycle riding. I was to get me a pair of shoes but I can’t even look at their prices! The cheapest I saw was for a sandal. It was $60! No, thank you. I’d go to Show Pavilion or DSW instead. I will get two pairs for that price. Besides, I am not that desperate.
